Mutimedia rooms

The layout of these rooms resemble a typical teaching space, with presentation areas (physical and electronic) at the front and an array of desk spaces in most of the remainder of the rooms. Each desk is equiped with a PC, and at leats one PC at the front rooms is connected to a "data show" or similar technology, for group presenation from a PC.

The desirable number of spaces in these rooms is dependent to some extent of typical classses at Thai Nguyen University, but in terms of meaningful interactions between librarian/trainer and class members, a maximum of twenty to thirty spaces is desirable. In addition to providing venues for staff to train students in the use of electronic resources and library catalogues, they also act as a teaching space for the University, and as part of the conference facilities which can be used on a commercial basis by external organizations.
